Tim Mackay is a Dental Public Health Specialist and is the Clinical Director for Oral Health Services of the newly formed Southern District Health Board, which includes both the School Dental Service and Hospital Dental Service. In early 2011 he had just completed an 11 month secondment to the New Zealand Ministry of Health as Chief Dental Officer for New Zealand while maintaining his clinical practice treating special needs patients and children.
