Dr Hak Sithan is Head of the Oral Health Office, Preventive Medicine Department, MoH, Kingdom of Cambodia. He graduated with a BDS and DDS from the University of Health Sciences in Phnom Penh. In 2003 he received a Masters degree (MPHM) from Mahidol University in Thailand. In 2008 he was appointed as a consultant for the Cambodian Dental Council, and since 2010 has been a member of the National Infection Control Committee of the MoH. Dr Sithan has been a leader in promoting oral health throughout Cambodia, and has extensive experience in planning and implementing dental public health programs.
