Dr David Idris Kamara is the Principal Dental Officer at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in Sierra Leone. He gained his MD and a Diploma in Russian language from the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute in 1994, before returning to Sierra Leone and working as a dental surgeon at government hospitals and the Syke Street dental clinic.
